The Roccat Kone Pure Owl-Eye is an ergonomic mouse suitable for small to medium-size hands, the mouse features high-quality buttons, a flawless sensor, and the build quality is amazing at this price. 

Design

If your hands start sweating while playing games, it’s always better to get a mouse that is made of matt material instead of glossy material. The Pure Owl-Eye is made up of matte black plastic and comes in two colors: All black and white top with a black body, the duo-tone variant is one of the best-looking gaming mice, but it’s difficult to find on Amazon. Its shape is pretty controversial; it might not fit in your hand or fit like it’s part of your body. So it is not for everyone.

The mouse feels pretty good in palm grip and is also suitable for claw and fingertip grips. Owl-Eye features eight buttons: left and right clicks, clickable scroll wheel, 2 DPI buttons, and two side buttons. On the back, it features Roccat’s illuminating logo; its feet have a good amount of surface area, which helps glide the mouse smoothly. The cable used in this one is the regular braided cable; neither it’s super flexible nor too stiff, which is good.

Performance and Features

The mouse has a Pixart PMW 3361 sensor, which offers excellent tracking and has no prediction. It can also work in four polling rates: 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz and the DPI can be set anywhere from 100 to 12000. The Pure Owl-Eye performs exceptionally well while playing games such as Division 2 and Doom. The mouse feels responsive and works without jitter, even if you use it without the mouse pad.

Gigabyte Aorus M2

The Gigabyte Aorus M2 is perfect for those who are looking for an affordable gaming mouse that offers good performance and can work for both left-handed and right-handed grips.

Design

The Aorus M2 is one of the lightest gaming mice in this review weighing just 76 grams, which is pretty good. It has a symmetrical and ambidextrous design, and it’s small too, making the Aorus M2 an excellent choice for small-handed gamers. The entire mouse has matt black finish; the top surface is smooth while the sides have a rough texture.

The mouse has two primary clicks, a DPI switch, two thumb buttons on each side, a rubberized scroll wheel, and the RGB Aorus logo. Under the mouse is an optical sensor. The DPI can be selected from 50 to 6200, and the polling rate ranges from 125Hz to 1000Hz. It has a PVC cable that is pretty light and has a decent length of 1.8 meters. 

Performance and Features

The mouse uses a Pixart 3327 optical sensor that can handle 30Gs of acceleration and speed of 220 IPS (inches-per-second). The tracking is excellent, and the polling rate is ideal for gaming. Both buttons use Omron switches, which provide crisp feedback on every click, and they come with a lifespan of 50 million clicks.

Design

The Corsair Harpoon has amazing build quality and ergonomics; it features six buttons: primary clicks, a clickable scroll wheel, a DPI switch, and the left side has two easily accessible buttons. The Razer Viper Mini is exactly what all the people with small hands have been asking for. The mouse has a flawless sensor, onboard storage, optical switches, and is lightweight too.

Design

The Viper Mini features an ambidextrous matte plastic shell and weighs around 61g. It has Razor’s RGB logo and Ultimate’s RGB under the heel. There are two thumb buttons on the left side and nothing on the right side. They have removed the rubber side grips in this model so the mouse feels a bit slippery.

The DPI switch has been moved near the scroll wheel instead of being placed under the mouse. Its switches have a lifespan of 50 million clicks. The Mini features a Speedflex cable with a decent length, and Razor has used PTFE feet, which are smoother and more durable than feet on other Razer mice. 

Performance and Features

Under the shell is a Razer Optical Sensor. The DPI is 8.5K max, and the tracking speed is 300 inches per second, which is lower than other flagship mice by Razor. It also has a max acceleration of 35G.

Most people will not need to customize this setting, but it might bother some gamers, the Mini stops tracking above 2 DVDs (2.4 mm), but it can be adjusted by clicking on ‘surface calibration’ in Razer’s software, you can lower the LOD (Lift of distance) slightly. Design

The mouse has a basic design; a lot of people complain about the design being too familiar. But from the usability perspective, the design does not have any major flaws. The shell has matt finish, and the sides have rubber grips; thus, the surface is free of fingerprints. The left and right-click are responsive and do not feel snappy. The two thumb buttons on the left side are easy to reach.

There is not much to mention about the scroll wheel except that it cannot be switched to free-spinning mode. On top, there is also a button that you can use to change mouse sensitivity. It has a durable 2-meter braided cable. Both RGB LEDs under the G logo and the scroll wheel, shift between the 16.8 million colors and can be customized by Logitech’s software. Underneath the mouse, you’ll find high-quality feet that let the mouse glide over most surfaces, and there is a cover that you can remove and add the extra weight that comes inside the box.

Performance and Features

You can use Logitech’s software to link profiles to games, set DPI from 200 to 12,000, change RGB lights (its RGB lights can sync with other Logitech devices). And you can check battery life data if you purchase the wireless version of the mouse.
