A new leak of a protective case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max shows what the device’s Action button would look like. In the video shared by leaker Majin Bu (via IT Home), the case can be seen to have a wider and rounder opening, suggesting the actual appearance and shape of the button in the phone.

Leaks continue to surface, giving us more and more ideas of what the iPhone 15 models would look like. One of the recent ones includes the protective case leak of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which reveals a rounded opening for the Action button.

Earlier renders from sites like 9To5Mac show the mute button, which is expected to replace the conventional mute switch on iPhones. In those renders released in April, the button is shown to be thinner, although it remains rounded. However, Majin Bu’s leak now suggests that the button will be more rounded than expected.

The leak is not as huge as the others reported earlier. Yet, it gives better clarity of what exactly we could expect from the upcoming iPhone 15 series. Nonetheless, it is important to note that the button won’t reportedly be on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models, which will still have the current mute switch. According to reports, the new button will include other functionalities, with rumors saying it will work like Apple Watch Ultra’s Action Button, allowing users to assign their preferred functions.

The new iPhone 15 series is expected to arrive in September. Nonetheless, recent reports claim that Apple could start stocking the first batch of the line next month. This is all possible through the early production of the series, which began in China. Another report says factories in India are expected to follow. According to the Chinese website IT Home, the move is Apple’s response to the supply chain disruption issues it faced during the release of the iPhone 14 line, which it is trying to avoid once the iPhone 15 models hit the stores.
