Leakers have revealed that Apple will offer a 50% longer cable for the upcoming iPhone 15 series. According to the latest posts of some of the most prominent leakers, the USB-C cables will measure 1.5 meters long.

Apple device collector @KosutamiSan shared the news on X. As the leaker said, Apple will employ a new internal layout of the package to adjust for the new woven charging cable, which will be “harder and longer.” The account then shared an image of a blue braided cable, which now seemed to be harder to fold for storage, justifying the leaker’s claim about the packaging.

Famous leaker @MajinBuOfficial also affirmed the cable’s length and shared more images of the same blue cable.
On Monday, the two were the first to share that Apple would offer the cables in multiple colors, with @KosutamiSan saying that Apple has been performing design validation tests for the accessory. The colors include black, white, purple, yellow, and coral. According to leakers, there is a possibility that Apple could offer the cables to complement the colors of the new iPhone 15 models, specifically the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
