Microsoft’s AI chatbot is no longer just available to Bing; you can now use it on Sarafi. While the software company still hasn’t made any formal announcements about this, it already confirmed the move, sharing it will also release it to Chrome users and possibly to other browsers.

“We are flighting access to Bing Chat in Safari and Chrome to select users as part of our testing on other browsers,” Microsoft Director of Communications Caitlin Roulston said in a statement. “We are excited to expand access to even more users once our standard testing procedures are complete.”

Prior to this confirmation, different users shared spotting Bing Chat in Google Chrome and Apple Safari. Others noted seeing a notification in the Windows 10 and Windows 11 taskbar about the availability of Bing Chat in Chrome.

It is unknown how wide the test is, but those included in the population of “select users” should be able to access the Chat section of Bing.com using Safari or Chrome. On a side note, as noted by others, you might not be able to access certain features and capabilities of the chatbot using Chrome or Safari browsers. That includes the chat limit turn per conversation before you are required to refresh the chat page. The character count is also reportedly lower in other browsers.
