A bug preventing the Hulu app from using the fullscreen feature of the Hulu app for iOS is still here. The case was first reported at the start of the month, with the company suggesting a workaround for the issue. However, a permanent fix is still unavailable up until this point.
The issue is being experienced by different users, but there is no exact information on how widespread the problem is. Indian tech website PiunikaWeb first shared the news on June 1 but reports about the issue continue up to this week. Hulu is aware of the bug and says it is already under investigation.
The company is also suggesting a current workaround to prevent the problem by disabling the orientation lock of the iPhone. However, no words are available regarding the probe’s progress and when it will be resolved, especially now that it is about to exceed a month.
On the other hand, 9To5Mac claims that another fix includes using iOS 17 on affected users. However, it is important to note that the update is still in the beta phase and comes with other issues, although Apple seemingly fixed some of them in the latest beta.
