A week after the release of the fifth beta of the iOS 17 update, Apple is now releasing the sixth version of the test to developers in the Apple Developer Program. Public beta testers can also now get a new update for iOS 17. 

The release comes as September nears. The update’s official release is expected to arrive in the third week of the said month, explaining why the Cupertino company’s frequent beta releases lately. As expected, Beta 6 comes with some improvements, alongside fixes to the long list of known issues still present in the update.

In the last beta, Apple made some UI and detail changes in iOS 17, and this could also be the case in this new beta. We will provide a new article detailing any changes in Beta 6.

On the other hand, the same changes are now rolling out to public beta testers of iOS 17. This is not surprising since Apple made the same move last week in Public Beta 3, releasing it just after the release of Developer Beta 5.

Other releases Apple made today include the iPadOS 17 Beta 6, tvOS 17 and HomePod Software 17 Beta 6, and watchOS 10 Beta 6.
