Solution 1: Uninstall MacAfee programs and remove them

The fact that the “default gateway is not available” error appears is due in part to the fact that the PC has the McAfee security program installed. To fix this issue, go to your PC’s control panel, select programs, and then select the programs and features option from the drop-down menu.

  • If you’re not satisfied with the results of an automated search, try looking for the latest version of the software yourself and then downloading it. This will solve the problem.
