There is a possibility that Apple could release both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Ultra this year. According to a new claim, the Cupertino giant could both release the models, giving them their distinctive specifications, especially in storage and RAM offering. The matter, nonetheless, should be taken with a pinch of salt, especially with the leaker himself ultimately dismissing such a possibility.

Famous leaker @MajinBuOfficial posted the claim recently, saying the iPhone15 Pro Max wouldn’t be the topmost model in the new Apple smartphone series. As explained by the leaker, the Pro Max will boast 6GB RAM and up to 1TB storage, but it will be overshadowed by Ultra’s offering of 8GB RAM, up to 2TB memory, and “a much better camera features than the normal Pro.” The post also said the Ultra model would get another $100 increase.

Majin Bu further shared that Apple tested two different 6.7″ models, indicating the presence of two models. However, the leaker stressed uncertainty about the simultaneous offering of the two variants. Ultimately, the account dismissed the idea of Apple selling both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPhone 15 Ultra this year, saying that iPhone case makers are “unsure of the iPhone 15 names so they have entered all possible names including ‘Ultra’ and ‘Pro Max.'” To recall, weeks ago, it was reported that iPhone 15 cases were already widespread in China. Some of them were labeled as Pro Max and Ultra, causing rumors of the possibility of Apple offering the Ultra model.
