More and more signs that Apple is now polishing its September launch for the iPhone 15 series are appearing. One of the latest is the appearance of an unreleased model from Apple in a new regulatory filing in India.
This is one of the necessary steps for the Cupertino company to perform before selling a product to the public, and this indicates the imminent arrival of the iPhone 15 series next month.
According to a report by the website MySmartPrice, an “Apple smartphone with the model number A3094” has been found in the Bureau of Indian Standards database recently. The BIS certification registered under the mobile phones section affirms this is an iPhone, though no other specific details about this were revealed.
Nonetheless, a similar happening in the same database last year can confirm that it has something to do with iPhone 15. To recall, it was also reported in 2022 that an unknown Apple smartphone was in the database of the regulatory body and was later revealed to be the iPhone 14. This is probably what’s also happening today, with the rest of the iPhone 15 models expected to be added to the database in the coming days.
