Apple will reportedly embrace new colors for its iPhone 15 line as it opts for titanium edges this year. According to a report, the company will now stop offering the smartphones in a gold option but will instead resort to colors that will better complement the material it will now employ for the iPhone frames.
Website 9To5Mac shares some details divulged by its sources in a recent report. If true, this will halt the conventional gold edge option Apple has always used to offer since the release of the iPhone XS in 2018. According to the report, the color will now be replaced with space black, silver, and a natural titanium gray shade.
Aside from the said colors, it shares the possibility of the Cupertino giant offering a new color for the iPhone 15 Pro titanium models: dark blue. The website calls it the “special color of the year,” saying it is expected to replace deep purple instead of the previously rumored crimson color. Meanwhile, the standard models of the line will reportedly be black, green, blue, yellow, and pink. An additional color is expected in the spring, it adds.
