LTE Service is not Available
Your smartphone has LTE bands which help the device connect to the network in the area. Now, the problem can be from both sides. Sometimes your phone is not equipped with the 4G bands supported by the provider in the area. Other times, your location is not feasible to connect to LTE services. In both cases, your phone will not be able to access the mobile internet.
You’ve Consumed Your Allocated Data
Sometimes, the 4G connectivity is limited due to insufficient credit on your T-Mobile subscription plan. Each plan provides a limited amount of internet data, and if you have consumed it all, you might see an error while connecting to LTE.
Poor Network Strength in the Area
Over the year, T-Mobile has created a massive network with thousands of mobile towers across the country, but it’s practically impossible to cover every square kilometer. So, if you pass through a location with low connectivity, you won’t be able to access the LTE or calling service on your phone.
The areas with no T-Mobile towers detect the signals from the nearest tower. Numerous obstacles, such as trees and mountains, can hinder these signals. Also, weather conditions like rain, storm, and snow can impact the network’s signal strength.

T-Mobile Not Working: What To Do?
You may hit network outage issues mostly while traveling. There is little you can do if you land in an area with low T-mobile connectivity. So, before you jump to troubleshooting, it’s a good idea to check the coverage in your area.
Thankfully, T-mobile provides users with honest information regarding its network range in the country. Just go to T-Mobile’s coverage map to find out the status of the network in your current location. The pink color on the map refers to the availability, and the white shows the areas with no coverage. You can also type in your current location to find the result.
Follow the steps mentioned below if you are in the pink zone.
1. Airplane Mode
Let’s begin with the most straightforward solutions. Swipe down the notification panel to bring out the quick settings menu and turn on the Airplane mode. Turn it back off after a few seconds. Airplane mode shuts down all the antennas on your phone, and turning it back on will reset the settings automatically.
2. Restart Your Phone
It’s the first thing we do when our phone is not behaving normally. So why not give it a try? Restart your phone and turn on the Mobile network. Check if you can access the internet.
3. Check Your Subscription Plan and Data Availability
Still no internet? You may have exhausted the data limit of your subscription plan. Go to your T-Mobile account and check for the details. You can also give a call to T-Mobile care to find out whether or not you have any data left.
4. Check Your Network Settings
Sometimes, bloatware apps may disturb your network settings. Here are a few things you can do:
- Click on the Settings Icon and go to Network & internet settings.
- Click on the Mobile network.
- Make sure the Mobile data is turned on.
- Enable Roaming by tapping on the toggle switch.
- Go to Preferred network type and switch to 4G.
- Click on Access Point Names and check if the APN is set to fast.t-mobile.com.
- Turn off the Automatic network search option and manually search for the network. If you are in a feasible location, T-Mobile will appear in the search result. Tap on it to select.
- Set the Private DNS mode to Automatic.
- Check if you have set a limit to monthly data usage. Please turn it off by tapping on the toggle switch.
Restart the phone and check if you can access the call and data services.
5. Reset Network Settings
If the problem still persists. It’s time to reset the network settings. Take the following steps:
- Go to phone Settings and tap on System.
- Tap on Advanced and then Reset Options.
- Select Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, and Bluetooth.
The phone will take several minutes to reset the settings. Once it’s booted up, turn on mobile data and check if you can connect to the network.
6. Check for Software Update
Every smartphone releases regular updates to fix the issues with the smartphone. Sometimes, a system update can fix connectivity issues.
- Go to Settings and scroll down to the System option.
- Tap on Advanced and then on System update to check for the latest update.
- Download and install the update and try to connect to the network agan.
7. Contact T-Mobile
If you still have the calling service on your phone, you can call the T-Mobile support team and explain your issue. You might receive the latest internet settings through a text that you can easily install on your phone.
