After months of wait, fans can now order their iPhone 15 units today. Here are the things you should know about this.
You can now visit Apple’s website to order your iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, or iPhone 15 Pro Max. Once ordered, Apple will ship the orders on Friday next week, September 22.
On the website, customers will be able to take advantage of Apple’s trade-in program. According to the company, those who choose to have the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be offered $800 off for trading in an iPhone 11 unit or newer. Meanwhile, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can get up to $1000 off for their old iPhone 11 Pro or newer model unit.
Apple will also be offering some carrier promotional deals from its partners. Yet, you can also directly visit the websites of T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon.
As Apple noted during the Wonderlust event, its iPhone 15 starts at $799 (128GB), while iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899 (128GB). The units are available in pink, yellow, green, blue, and black.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999 (128GB), while the iPhone 15 Pro Max starts at $1199 (256GB). The latter is the only model in the line that has received a hike, but note that it matches last year’s price with the same storage. You can get the Pro models in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and natural titanium.
Lastly, it is important to note that the iPhone 15 box only comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. With this, you might want to purchase a separate charging brick if you still don’t have one. On the other hand, for those who will get the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it is ideal to get the optional USB 3 cable to make the most of its A17 Pro USB controller feature, which allows USB 3 speeds up to 10 gigabits per second. Through the separate cable, you can get 20 times faster speed than USB 2.
