Is WiFi Accessible on a Suspended Phone?

What follows is an explanation of what will happen to your Wi-Fi connection if your service was just recently suspended but has not yet been completely terminated. In all intents and purposes, it is the same case as the one above.

You won’t be able to make or take calls, or send or receive texts, while your service is down. Everything that previously relied on receiving data from your cellular service provider to function properly will no longer do so.

The good news is that despite this, you will still be able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and make use of it regardless of where you are. If the applications that you use do not specifically require data from your service provider, then you will still be able to use them while connected to Wi-Fi.

What About Calls and Texts?

There are still quite a few people who use their smartphones in the traditional sense, meaning they prefer to make phone calls or send texts to other people rather than using any of the numerous apps that are now available that can perform those same functions. In this scenario, there is absolutely no chance of success for you.

These services will only function properly if they have been given permission to do so by your cellular service provider. In that case, you won’t be able to use these features because you won’t receive the signal required to do so. Having said that, there is a workaround for this, at least when it comes to making phone calls.

Wi-Fi calling is still an option for those of you who may not have been aware that it is still possible to make phone calls. There is also the possibility of using iMessage over a Wi-Fi connection, which should be taken into consideration. There is also some positive news to report regarding this.

This service can also be utilized by you, regardless of whether or not you have been disconnected from your previous provider. To operate it, all you will need is a Wi-Fi signal of sufficient strength.
